There are 3 main ways you can order an Idaho Wood Shed. First, you can come into our office in Meridian, and work with our sales team to get you exactly what you are looking for. Second, you can connect with us via email here. Finally, you can place an order over the phone

Do I Need A Permit To Buy A Shed?

In Idaho, a building permit is not required for buildings less than 200 square feet. Anything above 200 square feet requires you to get a permit from the city.

What Color Options Does Idaho Wood Sheds Offer?

We have 10 different paint colors to choose from. If your shed needs to match the color of your house per HOA restrictions, we ask that the customer provide the paint, and simply pay for the labor cost of painting. If the customer is providing their own paint, we ask that it be brought to us no later than one week prior to the shed being built.

How Do I Schedule The Installation Of My Idaho Wood Shed?

Once you place the order, and we collect a 20 percent deposit on the total price of the shed, we can schedule you for a build on our calendar. The 20 percent deposit guarantees the scheduled date on the calendar.

How Long Do I Need To Wait To Get On The Schedule?

Our lead time varies depending on the season. During the warmer Summer months you can expect a 3-6 week lead time. During the colder winter months, it may be less.

What Payment Options Does Idaho Wood Sheds Have?

We offer payment via credit card, check, or cash. If paying with a credit card over the phone, we do have to charge a 3% convenience fee. If you live out of town, and would like to pay with a check, you are more than welcome to mail it in.

Does Idaho Wood Sheds Build On-Site, Or Do The Sheds Come Pre-Built?

Most of our sheds are built on-site. This allows us to be able to build in areas where a full-size truck and trailer can’t get. Occasionally, we pre-build and deliver smaller buildings. Our Dog Kennels are the only buildings we have that come standard pre-built.

How Long Does It Take To Build An Idaho Wood Shed?

Most of our builds take about one 8 hour work day. If the building is very large, or has a lot of modifications, it may take up to 3 days.

What Is The Height Of An Idaho Wood Shed?

Our standard Gable style sheds with 6 foot walls are 9 feet at the peak. The height varies depending on the size, and wall height chosen. If you have questions about the height of a specific building, feel free to reach out to us, and we’d be happy to help answer any questions you have regarding height.

What Is Required For Site Preparation?

We require a minimum of 20”-24” around the perimeter of the building to allow for room to assemble. In addition, we ask that the site be as level as possible. If the building is going on a concrete slab, it must be completely level. For more information on site preparation, check out our blog post on the best ways to prepare your yard for a shed

What Are The Door And Window Size Options?

We offer a variety of door and window options. All of our sheds come standard with a 4’x6’ wood swing door. We also have roll-up door options, and steel man-door options. For windows, the sizes range from as small as a 14”x12” vinyl slider all the way up to a 4’x3’ vinyl slider. If you have more questions regarding door and window options send us a message here.

Does Idaho Wood Sheds Offer Financing?

Currently, we do not offer our own financing. However, you do have the option of getting set up with a personal loan via OneMain Financial.

Do you also do prepping of the site? if not, can you recommend a contractor who can prep the site where the shed will be built?

Unfortunately, we don’t do site prep work. We do recommend a couple concrete companies if you are wanting to lay a concrete pad. Those are Tucker Concrete, and Blackstone Concrete. Hope this helps.
